Emptying the Envirolet® is easy. First, the Rake Bar (bottom bar) is pulled back and forth to drop the composted material into the Removable Tray. Next, the Bottom Panel is removed by loosening the 4 easy-to-use hand knobs. Finally, the Tray is removed with the composted material.
